Luminess Tan – What They Didn’t Tell You

In this article I’m going to tell you what you can expect when you try the Luminess Tan airbrush system.

Where did I first hear about the Luminess Air System?

I came across the Luminess Tan system whilst visiting a show in London – it wasn’t long before I had my hands on one and was able to see if I could get the results I’d seen others achieve.

According to some of the forums I’ve read, the Luminess system is causing something of a buzz in the home tanning business. The excitement has been caused by the development of this fairly insignificant looking airbrush which is used to spray on the tan.

If your worried about receiving just a bottle of tan solution – don’t – there’s more to it than that. You will receive an airbrush kit that is like a smaller version of the ones you may have seen professional makeup artists use. The only thing not included is experience.

As you may have read elsewhere – a bit of rehearsing or practicing with the spraying system will help you get the appearance you’re striving for. It takes practice to use that brush properly. Why not try the system using a substitute such as coloured water rather than diving straight in with tanning solution. By practicing you won’t get put off by any early problems.

Yes, once you’ve got the hang of it you’ll be able to use the airbrush with ease. The clever addition of some colouring to the tan solution has made it a whole heap easier to see where the spray is going and whether its’ actually hitting the areas you want. The old trouble of stripes and splodges is much easier to avoid leading to a smoothe finish every time.

A few hours after application you can wash the colouring away without fear of the tan following suit – that’s hopefully staying put! The colouring is purely added to help you see where your applying it. Don’t expect an instant tan – you’ll have to wait a few hours for the tanner to work. It’s a bit like sunbathing – avoid looking in mirrors for a few hours and you’ll then be pleasantly surprised.

You might be happier sticking to lotions and potions but to be honest I don’t think you’ll do as well. You need to be patient and learn how to use the airbrush first. The professionals know how to do it and soon, so will you – a lovely bronzed tan will be there whenever you want it.
