Spears released these photos in hopes of “highlighting the pressure exerted on women to look perfect”. After scandal after scandal, this move can’t help the credit repair Britney Spears is trying to take on.

And, no big surprise, Britney Spears has cellulite much like most other women.
Unretouched Britney Spears photos part of a trend?
When Britney Spears released her unretouched photos, she may have been including herself in a minor trend. Recently, the cover of Marie Claire showed Jessica Simpson without makeup or retouching. Model and designer Kimora Lee Simmons also responded openly to Twitter questions about retouching in her new fragrance advertisement.
