Typical Sunless Tanning Equipment Needed for Mobile Tanning

There are models available that are light weight and easily cleanable. HVLP systems are known to be extremely reliable, effective and easy to use.
One of the main disadvantages of an HVLP system is the noise. It works, after all, using a turbine engine. They typically sound like small vacuums. This is why it is highly important to think about the possible locations your clients will be tanned at, prior to investing in the equipment. An HVLP, since it is designed specifically for airbrushing, produces little over-spray. This is extremely important for owners because it will reduce cleaning and ventilation issues as well as lower your solution cost. In effect, if you waste solution, you waste profits. In addition, there is a much shorter learning curve for applying a great tan.
On the other hand, an airbrush tan compressor is extremely quiet compared to an HVLP and they are very affordable. One of its main drawbacks is that airbrush compressors generally were not initially, or exclusively, built for tanning purposes. There are a select few manufacturers, though, who’ve designed their own compressor system designed for tanning using an airbrush. Another detractor is that these compressors generally produce a high amount of overspray and the learning curve is increased substantially. This is because the application process tends to take longer due to the narrow spray pattern. In addition, compressors can overheat if you use it too much for too long a time, like for a party of 10 or more. The main benefit of a compressor is the price. Typically, you can find one at literally a fraction of the cost of HVLP equipment, which makes startup investment easier to handle.
As was said before, location was a big determinant to the type of airbrush tan equipment you intend to buy. After you obtain proper permissions, your mobile business can be set up at fairs, gym parking lots, outside of beauty salons, shopping centers or hotels as well as flea markets. The options are endless when you’re mobile but which type of equipment is the best at these locations? That depends on you because it’s your business.
The perfect airbrush tan is completely reliant on skill and the equipment used. HVLP systems and airbrush compressors are the most widely used today. HVLP’s may be louder and more expensive, but they can cost less in the long run when it comes to saving on solution cost. On the other hand, compressors are extremely quiet and costs way less than an HVLP, startup investment therefore is not much of an issue.
